History

The Greenburgh Uniformed Firefighters' Association was formed in 1988 when the Fairview, Greenville and Hartsdale Professional Firefighters' Associations decided to merge into one Union. Greenburgh Firefighters are members of the International Association of Firefighters designated as Local 1586.
